Hymms of a sparrow



Anele Nene, the talented writer and director, in his his latest production—a heartfelt tribute inspired by his late father. Through this work, Anele reminisces about the days they spent together, the things they laughed about, and the generally amusing aspects of his father's character. This touching storyline captures the essence of family, loss, and the humor that can be found even in the darkest of times. Set in the rural areas of Ekuphileni, the narrative centers around Babu Mngadi and his constant battles with cattle owners whose livestock keep invading his garden.



Camdeboo





Actor, singer, dancer, poet, and writer Ayanda Nxumalo began performing at church nativity plays, she graduated in Drama at The Durban University of Technology and today she is making waves through her stage work " Camaeboo " - A powerful stage production, inspired by the story of Sarah Baartman. The play dives deep into the life and legacy of Baartman, a woman from the 19th century who has been a symbol of the objectification and exploitation of women.
